Hello there!
I haven't written here since last year. A lot has happened since that horrid wreck. So much.
I moved into my first place~ an adorable 1b/1b place that's cozy and cute. I quickly put my special touch to it and it actually feels like home. It's my new 'Narnia' and it feels wonderful to finally have a place to call my own and to call home.
I also bought a new car (RIP lil clown car) and her name is Beast. She's bigger and badder than my lil Rio was, and I can't wait to start making my mark on her with some stripes and blacked out rims. By far the mos expensive item I've spent my money on, but well worth it. Shout out to Woody Folsom in Baxley and their staff for giving me a great deal!
Also in epic and newsworthy events~ I've gotten engaged!
Although a story for another day, I will say this man has been the biggest blessing I could have ever asked for. He somehow managed to sweep a cynic off my feet and plant me firmly by his side and in his arms. For once, I felt completely pursued. Now, I feel completely loved. Ready to power forward in our journey, we both relish in making the other happy and sharing surprises day in and day out. We both thank God for the provision of our love and meeting and pray that our future is a happy, peaceful and blessed one. If it's half as blessed as it has been so far, the future looks bright!
To carry on the blessed events in my life, I was proud to once again be present as my best guy friend's second child, a son, was born into this world. He's absolutely perfect! Blessings to that entire family they are beyond beautiful and even though I suck at burping a baby, I'm grateful for my place in your life!
I was also present at my other bestie's wedding in Chicago and watched as she walked into a new journey with her new husband. Yes, I teared up as she walked down the aisle. Her eyes were filled with tears and joy, and I couldn't help but get excited for what lies ahead for them. What an amazing moment in time!
2016 is flying by but I can't complain. I've witnessed so many new beginnings already, and every single one has been an abundant blessing in and of itself. I have so much love in my life and I wouldn't trade it for the world.
Peace & Blessings
Ashley
